Born in Melbourne Australia in 1955, Potts studied Graphic Design
at The Prahran Institute of Technology in the early 70’s. The crispness and clarity of Pott’s work reflects over twenty years experience in graphic design and illustration.
He has worked for a variety of graphic and media organizations as well as freelance, producing a wide range of designs from corporate logos through to fabric design and book illustration, both here and overseas.
Since moving to Northern N.S.W. in 1993 Potts has continued to
work as a graphic artist, painter and sculptor. In 2002 Potts finished his Advanced Diploma of Fine Art. His current work is sea and landscapes on found timber. His main inspiration is the beach, the ocean and surf culture.
